Sean Leonard is a luthier based in the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by Spanish luthiers Antonio De Torres Jurado, José Ramírez III, and José Romanillos, Sean meticulously hand builds classical and steel string guitars the slow way, freeing the perfect sound from fine and salvaged woods. Each of his guitars is a piece of art designed and built to be played. 

 

Sean’s sizable clamp collection and workshop are located in a grove of cedar trees next to his home in Olympia, Washington.
